just finished day 2 of my chemo, only got Cis and VP-16 today.
it went much smoother and faster then the first day. but now that im home, im feeling like shit again… head is foggy. tired as hell… random headaches that last 5min.
this morning, i had hicups.. which is a side-effect of the Bleo. fun.
Yesterdays treatment, wasn’t so smooth. it took 7hrs start to finish. (as apposed to todays 4hrs)
it took an hour to get the IV in… i guess i have hard to find veins.
they give me Adavan, which is a seditive.. so, i felt stoned as hell.
so, during my last drug of the day, VP-16, i got up to go pee, and as i peed, my kidnees had a sharp pain.. thats no good. so i tell the nurse and she calls the doctor. he thinks with all the fluid i’ve been taking, they might have dislodged a kidney stone. FUN!
hope that’s not the case.
Steph has been with me both days, which is awesome.
Joey stopped in the first day, at the end.. which was awesome too.. he gave me a buncha DVDs to watch.. im stoked.
My dad and rosie are coming by again tonite, bringing us food.
they came over last night, and my dad helped me try to fix my Macbook Pro (which i spilled beer on this weekend during a drunken moment with my guitar)
the keyboard still doesn’t work.. but apple wants 1300bux to fix it.. and i found the part online for 99.. looks like a DIY repair is in my future.
I’ll try to post to this as much as possible over the next months, until im cured of this damned disease.
